Linkedin, the Microsoft-owned professional networking platform, on Wednesday launched its “Career Advice” feature that aims to help its over millions of members within the country seek professional guidance from its network of experienced mentors.
Talking about the launch of the new feature, she said: “More than 80% of professionals on LinkedIn have stated they either want to have a mentor or be one to others, but knowing where to start can be the trickiest part. In fact, of those who want to have or become a mentor, more than half don’t know where to begin and more than one-third have a hard time finding the right person.”
LinkedIn’s Career Advice feature is now rolling out to users in the U.S., U.K., India and Australia. Jalan said the feature will launch globally “in the coming months.”
